Nice, I like the overall feel.
something I didn't like is the lack of guidance compared to the linearity of the game. For example, when you're looking for paper, the solution is a little absurd, and you don't have a lot of hints. And it is frustrating that some legit solutions don't work, nor help you with a hint. I tried to go downstairs to steal paper from the scientist printer, but it didn't work. You end up re-checking every interaction possible, it kills the immersion.

KrunchyFriedGames responds:

Thanks for your comment- glad you liked it!
I could say that *spoiler* the paper used for the fingerprint receipts wouldn't work in the office printer but, in general, "But why can't I use this for this?" is a common frustration with point and click style games, and very difficult to avoid. Just as the player has to work out the mindset of the writer, the writer has to try and consider every possible approach the player can take.
Often you'll get it right, but not always.

nice ! just one observation : when several pieces overlap, it's hard to know where the piece will go when you release the mouse. a visual hint that shows what pieces will match would be great

Psonbre responds:

Thanks for playing ! Yeah that's exactly what I've done in the latest update. I'll try to put it on newgrounds soon. A lot more levels are coming too !

love the game ! I would love it to have an assist mode, where you see a short laser showing you the velocity vector, its normals, and where the spaceship is facing, to help do curvatures as smooth as possible.

zzox responds:

hmm thats a pretty good idea!

loved it ! But I bumped into a bug that didn't let me pass level 11. The timer was not decreasing anymore, so the level never ended. I had to commite suicide to end the level, and when starting a new run, the timer was stuck too. I had to reload the page.

BluePinGames responds:

Thanks for playing! Should be fixed now

Awesome ! I love the complexity of the gameplay. A slower tutorial could help. It took me some time to understand the difference between the throwing weapons.

I report a bug :
There is a problem with a shader or some visual effect. Big black rectangles appear on the screen during the scripted animations with the T-rex. The map too is not displayed (just a black rectangle).
I didn't find the village after finding the family, and the game froze.

SeethingSwarm responds:

Oh I'm glad you like the demo for Primal Planet! Thanks for the kind words, the 5 stars and the feedback, I really appreciate it :)

Looks like you ran into a few surprising bugs. I haven't heard of the map not displaying and big black rectangles appearing. Thanks for reporting them and for providing some context. Any more information about the incidents will be appreciated and could help solve the issue thanks!

I'm so sorry to hear the game froze on you. Does this happen often? I'm not sure if you want to, but you could try the demo on Steam; the desktop version is a bit more performant than the browser version.

If you don't mind telling me, do you remember where the game froze? How often does it happen? Does the game run smoothly otherwise? And if you don't mind giving me your computer's specs I'd appreciate that too. I've had a few reports of the game freezing, and it seems to be related to the browser version, but I'm not sure. It will also be useful to know if the Steam version freezes on you too. Any information could be helpful, thanks!

Again, my apologies.

Cool and beautiful ! Shame you can't remap the controls. Some anoying things ingame, like the bounce when you land, that does not let you jump immediatly after, and the physics mid-air is so different from the grounded one that I couldn't get used to it. Or maybe it was the controls. A "next level" button would be appreciated.

LoopBox responds:

"Shame you can't remap the controls" I Think I Should Add That Feature To My Next Game
"next level" True I Forgot That Simple Thing, That's Why I like Players Feedback Thanks

Nice game ! I got three endings before realizing there was a map. I was about to quit because I was clueless about how to carry on, and the size of the world is overwhelming. Then I read the description and found out about the map. I got the two remaining ends. An in-game indication of this map, and binding it to the m key would be cool

Chris responds:

Good suggestions. I’ll add that in an update either tonight or tomorrow morning.

excelent ! shame you used escape to exit a building, it exits fullscrean instead.

natomarcacini responds:

Wow, thanks for the heads-up! I didn't notice because I was testing with the joystick. I've updated the input to 'Backspace'.

Nice game ! I didn't understand that you could get rid of the blobs to click the other answer before reaching the cabinet (where you have no choice), then got the three endings.
Very nice 1bit art.

Sockenpuppe responds:

Thank you <3

Good to know! That's giving me some ideas for improvements I want to add in a post-jam update, thanks :)

Hi there, I'm not much of a professional in the art world. Actually I'm a mechanical engineer. On my spare time, I learn to use Blender (3d animation freeware), and I intent to become good at it. I love music, video, art in general.
